Hampshire Future Services Consultation - Polly (17th Jan 2024 - 22:55:47) Please have a read if this link. The results of this consultation will affect us all, one way or another. Re: Hampshire Future Services Consultation - Paul2 (19th Jan 2024 - 12:19:15) Probably a done deal, I suspect when councils go out to consultation it's to tick the box before they proceed at will .... Before HCC introduces further parking charges (how novel!) and gets rid of School Crossings, maybe they could save money by removing the Diversity Officer role (£40k saving) and the mandatory D&I Training Courses (another £50k).

Re: Hampshire Future Services Consultation - C (21st Jan 2024 - 17:13:41) Have just completed the form and voiced my concerns about closing Bordon Waste and Recycling Centre, would urge others to do the same. And for those saying it’s a “done deal”, well isn’t it at least worth a try? Certainly nothing ever was achieved though apathy.

Re: Hampshire Future Services Consultation - Eric Benson (31st Jan 2024 - 10:31:04) If like me you think the “bonkers” proposals set out in the current Hampshire County Council consultation from its Universal Services committee about cutting back on services, to include closing the Bordon recycling tip, are fundamentally wrong then you might like to write to relevant county councillors on the committee expressing your views, a few below, as well as taking part in the consultation itself. As an aside, if these are various centres are shut then there will be a commensurate increase in fly tipping around the county and East Hampshire in particular.
