Missing Kitten
- Hannah Farrant (26th Jan 2024 - 05:36:38)
One of our 6 month old kittens has been missing since yesterday afternoon. They have just started going outside this week. He is all black and wearing a light blue collar with a bell. Missing from Ash Grove on the Chiltley estate. If you see him please let us know, we are very worried.

Hi Hannah
I’m very sorry to hear this having lost a cat a few years ago thanks to the actions of pig headed neighbours. I feel your pain.
We’re in Chiltley Way so I’ll keep a look out. I’m sure he’s just enjoying exploring his new surroundings as you’re close to the fields around the chicken farm and Devils Lane. My advice from experience is to sign up to one of the animal search websites if he’s microchipped, leave familiar food outside plus something with your scent on like clothing etc. or a blanket he/ other cats sleep on. Very happy to help you search if you need support, I know how emotionally exhausting it can be and I have a powerful torch for nighttime cat searches.
Also look at cats protection or rspca websites for advice.
Sending very best wishes
Julie

Many thanks for the kind messages. This story has a happy ending. We found him! Very scared and collar less but now settled back home and happy with his brother.
