February Talk - Liphook Horticultural Society (7th Feb 2024 - 17:16:18) Liphook Horticultural Society's next talk is on Thursday February 15th, 7.30pm at the Church Centre Liphook. We are delighted to welcome Maggie Tran whose talk is titled "The trowels and tribulations of taking on a historical garden". Maggie, a Horticulturist from a fine arts background, is the current Head Gardener at Bramdean House and brings a wealth of experience to share with us on the rare and unusual plant collection and mirror borders there. She works towards simple, elegant, colourful, transportive gardens that bring people, plants and places together. Members Free, Guests £5 If you'd like to join the Society please message us - £10 single membership, £15 family membership. Don't forget our competition! Please bring a flowering (can be multi-flowered) single stem from your garden in a vase along to the talk. We will ask our speaker to pick the best flower and award the trophy. The winner keeps the trophy and brings it to the March talk. There will be a raffle and tea and biscuits after the talk. We look forward to seeing you there.
