Thanks for the day-long smoke (7th Mar) - Paul2 (7th Mar 2024 - 14:57:49) Yes, I know we 'kind of' live in the countryside etc, but I wanted to say a huge thank you to the person or persons who have had fires going for hours today. Lovely, lung-filling gulps of smoke and the opportunity to take clothes back inside for drying, and really who wanted to open their windows on this otherwise fine day ...

You can't have bonfires in the following circumstances - In the summer, in the Winter, in the Spring, in the autumn, in hot weather, warm weather, cold weather, in the dry and in the rain. People have moaned in all these circumstances. So when can I light a fire.

Re: Thanks for the day-long smoke (7th Mar) - jenny (12th Mar 2024 - 08:54:18) cannot tell you how i sympathise re bonfires - suffered them for few summers -smoke billowing over fence into my lungs and covering dog and car and plants in white ash - tried to appeal to neighbour - took letter from council - antisocial unneighbourly behaviour - go to tip like most of us do
