Liphook in Bloom - Sunflower Competition

Liphook in Bloom's Sunflower Competition is back for 2024. And we've added extra categories... As well as growing the tallest sunflower, can you grow the sunflower with the most blooms? The most unusual sunflower? The best display of sunflowers in a pot? The funniest sunflower?
We hope you will take part in the competition - it should be good fun! We'd also like to see growing around the village as many sunflowers of all different varieties as we can - so if you can grow some in your garden - especially front garden, that would be amazing.
Our competition is open to all - individuals, families, clubs, businesses, schools - everyone is welcome to enter.
You can grow your own sunflowers from seed or we will have some seedlings available at Picnic on the Green on May 5th, 12pm to 6pm.
As your sunflowers grow, please email photos, including your name and contact details, to liphookinbloom@gmail.com and we'll add them to our website.
The competition closes on Sunday 18th August and judging will be shortly afterwards. 🌻🌻🌻

There are lots of sunflower seeds for sale in the supermarkets at the moment.
