Liphook Horticultural Society's Spring Show - Liphook Horticultural Society (4th Apr 2024 - 08:43:41) Liphook Horticultural Society's Spring Show is this Saturday 6 April 2024 at Liphook Church Centre The Show is open between 2pm and 4pm to view the displays, enjoy tea and delicious homemade cake, purchase a raffle ticket and buy a plant or 2. Exhibiting at the Spring Show is for Members Only and is "Entry on the Day". All members are invited to the Church Centre between 10.30am and 11.45am to stage their entries. Blank show cards will be provided for exhibitors. If you have any spare plants or seedlings for our plant stall, those will be very welcome. Likewise we would be grateful for any raffle prizes. Fuchsia cuttings will be available for purchase to be grown on and entered into Class 51 of the Summer Show. If all our members could enter at least one class, we will have an amazing display for everyone to enjoy. Never think "oh mine's not good enough". You will be surprised and always remember we are all growing in the same weather conditions!! We look forward to seeing you all on Saturday.

Re: Liphook Horticultural Society's Spring Show - Lesley Hollands (4th Apr 2024 - 14:54:00) There will be, amongst other things, Hummingbird cake, freshly baked scones with homemade jam and cream, lemon drizzle, pear and ginger cake and for those who do not have a sweet tooth cheese scones. Every one is welcome to the Spring Show whether you are a member or not. Its a lovely friendly village event and we all look forward to seeing you there.
