Is the reform party fielding a candidate in the elections, if they are what are their policies for the local area?
Re: Reform party - AF (28th Apr 2024 15:55:32)
The elections on 2 May in this area are for Police Commissioners only. There are 4 candidates Labour, Lib Dems, Conservative and Justice Party.
It is a pointless post so go for the Justice Candidate as he is Liphook will not take a salary and work to abolish the post as its not needed.

@AF - I think you completely missed the OP's point - by a country mile. I suspect they meant General Election, not PCC. No-one is interested in your much lauded Justice & Anti-Corruption Party.

Paul2 - Have you heard something. There has not been a general election announced yet. The ONLY election happening at the moment in this area is the PCC.
If the original poster is referring to the general election the post should be posted when an election is announced.

@AF - not sure why you took such a skeptical, condescending and critical tone in responding to my point.
If the OP replies and confirms it's the PCC elections then I would be more than happy to say I interpreted his comment as referring to a future GE (which we know is due by Dec 24).
If they were to reply saying they meant the GE then hopefully you will make the same commitment.
Have a lovely day!

I can't see why so much money is being wasted on an election for a PCC which the LibDem and JAC Party candidates say is a complete waste of money anyway. It's in their election statements on the government websites. The JAC party's website has a new bit saying we are now even paying for the Conservative Party's leaflets! I expect Labour will want to nationalise all the parties and then we won't need any elections.
