Liphook Remembers the D-Day Sacrifice - Paul Robinson (6th Jun 2024 23:13:03)
I should like to commend the Bramshott and Liphook Parish Council for the work they did in arranging the remembrance event they arranged at the Millennium Hall this evening.
The occasion had all the solemnancy of the eightieth anniversary of the unique invasion but the invovlement of the village school children made this event so relavent to today.
The planting of the memorial tree and the lighting of the beacon made this event memorable.

We totally agree with all Paul has said .
Very well done to all who arranged the remembrance evening.
The school children’s choir was special, and then they entertained later with their dancing, and knowing the words to lots of the old songs that the excellent girl was singing.
Thank you for a memorable event.
