Christmas Post
This December, Liphook Scouts are once again planning to run a Christmas card postal service.
The group have been delivering cards in the Liphook, Bramshott, Passfield and Conford area for a number of years now as both a service to the local community and as a way to helping to raise much needed funds.
Last year they battled the heavy snow and ice problems to deliver all 3,000+ cards.
Post boxes will be located in the following shops from Saturday 3rd December...
- Sainsburys
- Co-op
- Gables News
- Route 6
- Countrywide
- Hiscocks
- The Deers Hut
- The Passfield Store
The cost per card is just 20p. You can either place the money in the post box with the cards (the Scouts will then stamp your cards for you), or stamps can be bought in advance from Gables News (available from about the 29th).
The Scouts are issuing a special stamp design this year to commemorate the fact that in 2012 the group will be 40 years old.
