Bramshott Common - possible AONB
- Editor (17th Sep 2024 - 11:20:34)

East Hampshire land proposed as Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
Natural England consultation on the plans opens today
Natural England has launched a consultation on proposals to include parts of East Hampshire in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

Land including Ludshott and Bramshott Commons, the southern slopes of Whitmoor Vale and a small part of the Slea and Wey valleys could be incorporated into an extension of the Surrey Hills AONB.

If approved it would give those areas special status and protection.

Residents can take part in the consultation from today and will have 12 weeks to make comments.

Thanks Ed I tried to complete the East Hampshire section but could only find the areas in Surrey to consult on perhaps someone could help me find the right place within the consultation itself to comment. Thank you.

Yes thanks I did get that far but it just links you to consult on the North Surrey Areas not the East Hants areas
