Trick or treat misery - Steve Cooke (24th Oct 2024 11:32:11)
Feeling apprehensive once again about the horror that is plague of little urchins knocking on my door uninvited to beg for sweets! Just because I live on one of the estates close to the village centre kids and parents think they are entitled to ignore what I believe are the unofficial protocols

If you have the facility you can download and print A4 sized posters from the Hampshire Police saying ' No Trick or Treat Here Thankyou'

Failing that Steve you could always just not answer the door, I reckon that would do the trick (pun intended).

You mean people open their doors on trick or treat night?? I know it's American but what are we actually teaching these kids, that you can demand with menace and get free sweets off strangers, it seems to go against everything we try to teach them the rest of the year:)

Stop being a misery Steve Cooke, it's one night of fun for the kids!
Just don't answer you door...
