Wood fired pizza van
- Ruth (19th Nov 2024  10:14:18)

Hi, does anyone know what days and times the pizza van is on the London road?

I don't know about a van, but maybe you could try Guido's in Station Road. I think they offer takeaways.

Pity you don’t support local businesses. Road side vans don’t support our local shops who pay business rates.

Oh local, what a virtuous person you are!

In response to the OP, I don’t think they come to Liphook anymore.

I'm sure I saw the van at the weekend but wondered if it's there mid week.

Well said Local, we don’t want any outsiders coming here and serving us pizza, let’s setup checkpoints on all commercial vehicles entering our village and ban plumbers, electricians, anyone whom either have not built up the same years of local entitlement you have or those that don’t live here.

At it again Sam . Because someone wants to keep as many shops going on our village we get slagged off . When we don’t have anything left including Sainsburys and we are just a dormitory place for people to sleep don’t blame me . Sam you should know better being a family man if you’re the same Sam on the bohunt thread.

Oh no! Not THAT Sam who disrupts and miserably fails to hold a logical sensible arguments on TalkBack?

I agree about the restaurants they are having a hard time of keeping going everywhere but as for shopping locally I think most people buy a good proportion of products on line these days. It is too expensive for traders to rent or buy premises with competition from the internet and out of town big shopping malls. Even Homebase a nationwide company have folded.

Local- You get slagged off because of your tone and implied ora of superiority. The post by Jen was implying the same thing in a totaly different and non condescending way trying to be helpful, it would seem you just wanted to have a dig.
