As Britain is searching for talent, Eagle Radio and new entertainment venue G Live are breathing fresh life into radio drama.
This February half term, Eagle Radio and partner's G Live are running an accredited course for 13 - 16 year olds in Surrey and North Hampshire to create an original radio drama based on H. G Wells War of the Worlds.
Historically the domain of the BBC, this project introduces a new, young audience to the powerfully creative world of radio drama.
Working with theatre practitioners and radio producers they will learn how to perform, create sound effects and produce a feature length drama.
Both Eagle Radio and G Live are investing in media and creative arts constructing exciting and engaging projects for young people.
Over the 6 days February half term the cohort will be working towards a level 1 (GCSE) Arts Award qualification from Eagle Radio.
