Fruit trees available for just £12.50
- Amelia (12th Jan 2025 09:12:27)
GREAT NEWS –Petersfield Climate Action Network's annual 'A Fruit Tree in Every Garden' initiative, offering fruit trees at subsidised prices, is back!

Each fruit tree costs just £12.50 and comes with a stake and instructions on how to plant. These trees usually cost between £25 - £35 but through this scheme and thanks to a collaboration with East Hampshire District Council, you can buy them for much less! These trees are grown in Hampshire.

Order your fruit trees before 6th Feb and collect from
Liphook Millennium Centre on the morning of Saturday 22nd February (exact timings to be confirmed). Varieties include apple, crab apple, pear. plum, cherry, greengage and filbert (similar to a cobnut).
Go to petersfieldcan.org/projects/nature-recovery/trees/order-your-fruit-trees to order your fruit trees while stocks last.

This project has received funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, through East Hampshire District Council.

Thanks Amelia for posting this. I have ordered a tree and look forward to planting it. A great initiative; tree planting and home-grown fruit.
