Chiltley Lane Chicken Farm Planning application number 22789/007
On 10th February the planning committee of Bramshott and Liphook parish council unanimously rejected the revised application for 67 new homes (to include a three-storey block of flats) on the chicken farm site in Chiltley Lane. There were a number of reasons for this, which included Bloor Homes and their agents totally ignoring the B PC neighbourhood plan which was voted on and approved by us all last year.
The closing date for objections is Thursday 27th February. If you have not lodged your objection by now can you please do so as soon as possible. You can try and do this by the “new and improved” EHDC Planning Portal if you are registered on that service but equally there is a quicker and more useful way, lodging it by email.

Not intending to hijack this thread, but also concerned about application number 23150/008 - the planned gated development on Devil’s Lane. Anyone know why the delay? Public consultation ended in December, yet the developers still seem allowed to add to their documents (albeit the latest addition was an objection!)
Surely about time this was decided - it’s starting to look extremely suspicious!

The larger applications are allowed longer than 6 weeks to be decided especially if consultees such as Thames water environment agency etc have been very slow in responding.

This isn't surprising as the Neighbourhood Development Plan failed to provide any actual 'PLAN' of where the community agreed that future housing should be built!
As I said in an earlier post: it would appear that the 'bumpy ride' has started. Good luck with your campaign against this application.

It seems EHDC have made it very difficult to register for planning objections have tried and tried to no avail. They need to check their system.

If you can’t get on using the problematical EHDC Portal then simply use the e-address – planningdev@easthants.gov.uk – with the planning reference 22789/007

Thanks Eric for reminder, I now written to support proposal. about time the east of Liphook supported the homeless and with more houses just like the west of village.

I think you'll find there are even more than two locals, although I can't see a post on this thread from 'second local'.
Disappointing that so many of the important threads become diluted in this way.

I think you will find the population of Liphook and its environs is about 10k so are there really only 2 locals? Are we not all locals who live here? More development is something everywhere will have to get used to, except maybe Aldershot where not many people would want to live.

Mike T if you feel that building on that side of the square will increase traffic in our already very congested square then perhaps you could make your feelings felt. We have come to a point where new developments should be put in a place that doesn’t impact on our very poor infrastructure ie ways to get to the A3 .
