Finally sense by the courts - Sarah (16th Apr 2025 - 11:47:15) Great to see that common sense has finally prevailed over the confused in society. A woman can only be a woman if she has all the working female parts and a man is only a man if he has the working male parts just as we taught in biology classes when we were in school. It’s the end of the woke era and a return to good old fashioned values and family structure. Our poor young people have had so much rubbish they were being exposed to over the last few years.

Is it a massive problem to you all on a daily basis if someone wants to identify differently? Find it quite bizarre in this day and age the things people dedicate so much time to rallying against that in all likelihood will never have a bearing on your life. Maybe worry about climate change/ war/ poverty, famine.....? Personally I'm of the view, if what someone does causes no harm to another, what business is it of mine how they live their life? {and here we go on the comments...!}

Re: Finally sense by the courts - Rupert (16th Apr 2025 - 15:15:04) Hopefully this gives back power to the parents as at present if a child advises their school that they want to be gender neutral or a girl wants to be known as a boy the school doesn’t have to advise the parents. There’s been a few cases where 8 year girls have declared themselves as boys and other girls no longer want to be considered a female. How are parents supposed to navigate any time of these situations. It’s great that the court has provided the clear direction of what a female is and by default what a man is. The Scottish WI have been able to provide us all with a clear moral direction and for that society as a whole should be thankful and joyful. A Christian country should have Christian values.

Thank god the court has now confirmed you’re either a woman or a man and if you were born a woman then you’ll always be a woman and if you were born a man you’ll always be a man. Is the world we live in gone truly this mad when a court has to advise of all of this because the local authorities are afraid to! If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

Are you plagued by trans women on a daily basis knocking on your door and trying to recruit you?! Can you not walk into a supermarket for the hordes of trans woman buying up all the female razors and blocking the feminine product aisles?! And to me, Christian values are kindness, respect and generosity, which continually seem to be missing from this Forum sadly.

He formed Adam from the dust of the ground and breathed life into him. Seeing that Adam was alone, God made Eve from one of Adam’s ribs to be his companion. This creation established two distinct genders—male and female—as part of God’s design for humanity. The text emphasises that both were made in God’s image, with equal value and purpose. It does not mention the creation of other genders, focusing solely on this binary framework within the context of its time.

Re: Finally sense by the courts - Joe (16th Apr 2025 - 22:42:57) Ok Caroline the issue is a very real one in everyday life - because anyone can identify as a trans woman there have been multiple reports of criminals asking to go to a women’s prison because they are a “ female” when in fact it is a ruse to enter the prison fir purposes of rape. The issues are also in sport whereby a man declares they are a woman in order to win in the women’s events. These are just two examples of fakery for personal gain. I have no issue with those men who genuinely feel they are women and cause no problems. Women should feel safe in designated women only spaces such as female changing rooms. A man faking gender change is obviously a risk and uses gender identity to gain entry to those places.

Nowhere in the bible is any support or approval given for any deviation from male and female. Though given the way the world is going, I'm sure it's only a matter of time before it is re-written to fit in with today's weirdo woke culture.

So forgive me if I don’t take it all as read. Leaving this thread now. It’s too depressing to read the bigoted values.

Surely a Christian would want everyone to feel safe. What we have all known has now been defined in law. Crazy this had to happen. Biological males should stay away from biological females rest rooms, and sports. Children tend to be with their mothers in these places.

Also as a biological cis male, if I have to take my almost pre-teen daughter to the toilet then depending on the situation I’d be far more comfortable taking her into the ladies than the gents and I’ve never had an issue doing so. When my kids were babies if there were no changing facilities other than in the ladies I would also go in there to use them as why shouldn’t a father be able to change their kids. All this whataboutery is nuts. The fact is in practically all cases someone being trans is just trying to get on with their own life in a way that helps them cope and has no impact on yours. If you don’t like it then don’t be trans (in the same way that if you don’t like same-sex marriage then don’t marry someone of the same sex - it literally has no bearing on your own life). If you’re uncomfortable then that’s surely your issue not theirs almost all of the time. The cases highlighted are such a tiny proportion - there are far far more predatory conventional men and other criminals that you should be more concerned about. Why can’t people just be kind?

The regular initials and psuedonyms will chime in here as they've reached dead ends on other topics! Treading very carefully here but if you are not a believer in The Bible and that version of how the worlds and man and woman were created and you take a more creationist view, biological diversity has been evolving for millions of years on this planet. Even our own species has had several genetic and practical twists and turns throughout the continents. With medical science improvements and an individuals want to change facial appearance, body insecurities or even the ability to become pregnant or change gender is now widely possible. The next evolution of humans is all in the hands of white coats in labs and is here to stay. Live and let live I say, Not wokeism. Start throwing stones in a particular direction then how long before someone opposed to you starts throwing them back. Where does that get us!? Have a lovely day Liphookians🌞☺️

I'm sure these days that statement makes me a right wing homophobic bigot, possibly also a fanatical religious extremist for mentioning the bible. Chicks with dicks and todger choppers don't bother me at all, what does bother me is attempts to legalise us all into having to accept this as the norm. It isn't.

Let people live their lives how they want to if it doesn’t affect you. Quite frankly it’s hardly different to someone wanting to change their hair colour to bright blue. Not one of the standard available hair colours, but it doesn’t make a difference to anyone else. In fact having typed that previous line it’s probably more like someone going from one naturally available colour to another “normal” hair colour. No need to answer, you’ve described your own biases and personality perfectly. The problem with the biases people show is that completely normal woman are being judged unfairly too just because they’re a bit taller than average or have harder features or whatever. Not to mention those who have hormone imbalances or other differences since birth.

Personally, I'm always happy to respectfully agree to differ, I never think it necessary to accuse people of bias and bigotry when their opinion differs from mine. Just as society respects transgenders, lesbians and homosexuals, society must also accept some people find such things utterly abhorrent. Having a difference of opinion doesn't make one a biased bigot.

Schools have had to change their PE clothing changing arrangements at school as there’s girls who think they’re boys and want to change in their changing rooms and girls who think they’re are not female or male! The world is gone nuts! Parents allowing this kind of disgusting behaviour to happen need a serious talking to. Maybe these kids would be better off in care where the local authorities can straighten them out (in more ways than one) as the parents and schools are afraid to touch them.

I find this claim at odds with what I read in the news. I have no issue with people ( trans or otherwise ) trying to lead their lives peacefully, but to merely SAY you are identifying as a different gender is not enough.
