Can you spare an hour a week driving? - Liphook Day Centre (17th Apr 2025 - 15:27:23) Hello all We are very fortunate that we have so many people wanting to come to our wonderful Liphook Day Centre, but we are having some trouble getting people here and home again. Thanks to Age Concern, we have a mini-bus but this is only for use within the village and is full on some days! We currently have clients in the following areas who are looking for voluntary drivers (using their own car) to collect from areas such as Lindford, Bordon and Hindhead. The day centre is open from 10am to 3pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and these clients would need a lift here at 10am and home again at 3pm. Is anyone out there looking to do some low-commitment voluntary work? Even if you could only do one day a week (half hour each way) it would be a huge help to us and make a big difference to the life of a lonely person.
