Easter Egg Appeal
GOING THE EGG-STRA MILE FOR EAGLE RADIO’S EASTER EGG
APPEAL
Less fortunate children and teenagers are counting on you to donate
an Easter Egg to the Appeal. Just one egg would bring joy to a child
who might not be receiving one this Easter.
Eagle Radio, Surrey and Hampshire libraries and other locations will
be acting as drop off points for anyone who wants to donate an
Easter Egg to the appeal.
The Easter eggs will then be collected and distributed to charities
and services in Surrey and Hampshire, who will be delivering them to
teenagers and children in time for the Easter weekend.
Eagle Radio`s Programme Controller and Breakfast Show Presenter,
Peter Gordon tell us why this appeal is so important: “Now in its
17th year, Eagle Radio’s Easter Egg appeal is one of THE community
appeals in our area – we are in such a privileged position to make a
difference, along with our generous listeners, every year. It’s just
what we do.”
Eagle Radio’s Managing Director, Paul Marcus says: “After a record-
breaking toy Appeal in December, we are hoping that we have a
cracking Easter-egg appeal too and that Eagle Radio`s loyal listeners
help us to make sure every child in the area can look forward to
receiving an Easter-egg.”
If you are able to buy an extra Egg this Easter, please donate it to
the Easter Egg Appeal.
You can start donating your Easter Eggs from Monday 19th
March to Sunday 1st April.
Eagle Radio will be open to donations until Thursday 5th
April.
