Hunt for Hijackers
Hampshire police stopped 60 cars outside Bohunt School, Longmoor Road, Liphook, on Thursday night, to try and find witnesses to a hijacking incident at that spot the week before when a 55 year old local woman was forced by two men armed with a knife to drive to Portsmouth. Ginny Goulding had been waiting at the traffic lights by roadworks outside the school at 10pm when the men, both foreign, with olive complexions, jumped into her silver VW Polo and ordered her to drive to the continental ferry terminal at Portsmouth.
Police are continuing with "Operation Darsham" and would like to hear from anyone who might have seen the two men in the Longmoor Road area on November 7th.
