Baby Sensory venue
The Haslemere and Petersfield branch of the acclaimed Baby Sensory franchise will be opening its first permanent, purpose built venue – the Baby Sensory Barn – at Applegarth Farm in Grayshott, in January 2013.
Baby Sensory was founded by Dr Lin Day in 2006 to provide age-relevant stimulation and sensory development for babies from birth to 13 months. Within three years, classes were being held in over 100 locations across the UK.
Angela Kennedy heads up the franchise covering Haslemere, Petersfield and surrounding areas, and is a well known figure within the community.
Angela said: “I am truly delighted to be able to announce the opening of our new venue in January. Having spent the last three and a half years trying to find the right permanent venue to hold our classes, this is a dream come true, and I can’t wait for all our parents and babies to be able to take full advantage of the facilities we’ll have available”.
Up until now, classes have been held at numerous venues across the area, including Haslemere Preparatory School, Greatham Village Hall, and St Albans Church in Hindhead.
Nearly 2000 families have taken part in Angela’s classes since September 2009, and this number keeps on growing.
“I am so grateful for the support I have received over the years, particularly from Haslemere Prep School, who have been just been amazing to me, my families and my babies. I'm extremely grateful for all the warmth, support, encouragement and interest they've shown in Baby Sensory” continued Angela.
Classes in the new venue will begin in January 2013; for more information and to enrol, parents should contact Angela on 07786 033 701 or by email at haslemere@babysensory.co.uk
