 Jobcentre Confusion
Confusion has surrounded the details of the proposals to move Liphook's Jobcentre to Bordon.
Local MP James Arbuthnot has written to Jobcentre Plus district manager Karen Gamester after receiving confusing information about the services the new facility will provide.
In his letter he says: "You are closing the Jobcentre in Liphook. That Jobcentre provides full Jobcenter services, help and advice on job-search, new claims to jobseekers' allowance, personal advisor meetings, fornightly job reviews, new deal advice and access to touch screen jobpoints. None of these services will be available in Bordon."
