Trustees Pull Out
Liphook's troubled Millennium Hall could be left with no one to run it, after the trustees announced they were unable to continue.
The shock announcement that they would pull out of the running of the hall, as of March 31, came in a letter from the trustees.
Bramshott and Liphook Parish Council made the controversial decision to take over the running of the building in May last year.
However, 9 months later it still hasn't done so, because a series of minor building works has delayed the transfer of the hall's ownership from Sainsbury's.
All contracts entered into by Liphook Millennium Hall Ltd will be cancelled, with affect from April 1, unless the Parish council renews them in writing by March 11.
