The Beacon
Liphook youngsters will soon have a new focal point for entertainment and information, when a new £8000 youth facility, called The Beacon opens.
The Beacon is expected to open just after Easter, and replaces the old tennis club room at the pavilion on the village recreation ground.
Jan Scard is the area youth worker for Hampshire youth services, and said that The Beacon will provide young people with a range of opportunities.
Young people aged 12 - 16 will be able to use the club, and there will be three trained and qualified youth workers to help out.
