• The name you give us will be shown publicly along side your post on the Liphook.uk website.
  
  
• Your e-mail address is not public, and will only be used to contact you about the post if necessary.
  
  
• Your IP address is not public.
  
  
• Your details will never be given to a 3rd party, unless we are required to do so in response to a court order.
  
  
• Your details will be retained for an indefinate period, unless you specifically ask us to remove your post from the Liphook.uk website.

Removing a post from Talkback

• If you would like to remove a post from the Liphook.uk website you should contact editor@liphook.uk with the request from the e-mail address you gave on the post.
  
  
• You must include specific details of the post you wish to be removed including the subject, date and content.
  
  
• We may ask you to prove your identity, but any documents we request will be deleted once the request has been dealt with.
  
  
• If you have posted under a fake name or pseudonym, we may be unable to verify that is yourself, and thus unable to delete the post.
  
  
• Your removal request will be retained for a period of 1 year from the date of our last communication with you on the matter.

General Enquiries

• If you contact us via our website, or directly via e-mail we will retain the details you supplied to us for a period of 1 year following the resolution of your query.
  
  
• We may keep the details you gave us longer if we are required to do so for legal reasons.

Clubs, Societies and Charities

• The Liphook.uk website provides a directory of local Clubs, Societies and Charities.
  
  
• We only publish data provided to us by representatives of those entities.
  
  
• We request, but do not publish details of a named contact for each entity to allow us to verify any future changes, and have a named contact for any queries we may have.
  
  
• Updates to your entry, or a removal request can be submitted to editor@liphook.uk.
